Never too old - I played some Hank Ballard, Slim Harpo and Lightin Slim stuff on my piano last night and it really started to sound great after the 3rd glass of wine. We need to get together for a jam session but I can't bring my digital piano to you--you got to come to Texas!
not saying you can spend a lot of money on this(in which you can), but there is a very nice software package called 'spin it again' that i use. you have to have a pre-amp of some sort but that's no problem.
the software is around 40 dollars and the pre-amp(called 'pyle pro') runs about 20 bucks or so..
you can get very satisfactory results with the spin it again as it has some nice bells and whistles such as altering speed of song, editing portions of song, and much more. and it really is very simple.
i'm sold on it.
it's made by Acoustica ... and it's easily found on the web.

tony
