I understand the sentiment to connect our friend Ben Saxon's recent and untimely death with "the day the music died". But I have to respectfully disagree. Ben's life as a music fan, a DJ. a musical mentor, a promoter, a founding member of the Birmingham Record Collectors and the force behind this very web site is precisely why the music will NEVER die.
